Network Computing evaluated QualysGuard in a competitive review of threat vulnerability management suites, published in November, 2004. QualysGuard received the highest overall rankings among all products reviewed in the categories of reporting and network definition.
According to the review, "(QualysGuard) host detection was spot on--we didn't find a single mistake. Running scans was a simple matter of selecting the targets, the appliance and the options. The scan options let us control all the scan features, including the vulnerabilities selected. Once the scan runs, you'll get a detailed report for review, and tickets will be opened if necessary."
